T’was Tuesday morning and I was free,
So I went to Billings Sewing to see;
What happens at a club and who else will go?
Was I surprised what those ladies know!

There’s Shirley or Sherry; Sue, Marj or Linda,
To teach and delight us with great ideas.
Goodies and sales, laughing and sassing,
My opinion? No one should be passing.

Its sewing one week, quilting another;
Serging, embroidery and something named Martha.
There’s hardware and software—the friendly kind,
Anyone can attend; it’s the best you can find.

The price is right, just $5.00 per session,
What a fine deal for such a good lesson.
For the entire year—about 50 weeks,
Paid in January for all, it’s $2.00 each.

So to my friends, and to people not met,
Go to 1212 Grand Avenue as fast as a jet;
Under the sign of the black and gold,
In 2011, don’t be left in the cold.
